Job Profile
Long term contract assignment for 2 Procurement Engineer positions with nuclear plant component and spares experience. Requires ability to review plant design documentation, procedures, and vendor documentation to identify the critical characteristics of the parts/materials.. This position is scheduled to last through December of this year.
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing equipment, component, and part Equivalency Determinations (EDs)
Will provide technical evaluations of Supplier Exception Notices (SENs) to resolve vendor exceptions to material requests
Responsible for updating plant configuration based on completed evaluations
Responsible for updating Supply Chain documentation based on completed evaluations
Must be able to do evaluations of original parts to their design requirements, documenting acceptability of proposed replacement parts, and appropriate design configuration updates
Requirements
Engineer or other technically qualified individual. Mechanical, Electrical or Instruments & Controls disciplines are acceptable
Ability to review plant design documentation, procedures, and vendor documentation to identify the critical characteristics of the parts/materials
�Skilled in developing EDs for nuclear power facilities
Requires extensive research of FNP drawings, vendor documentation, and other documentation to identify and evaluate replacement parts and materials
