Hiring managers would look at the resume like we would in a cereal box that would make us decide which one to buy. As the product has to stand out, candidates should also possess the skills and traits hiring managers are looking for to answer their job postings. Therefore, it is important to assess your skills by using words that will grab the hiring manager’s attention because these words are the key that will make you unique for the position.

Since skills are grouped in categories, it is wise to divide these skills into columns so that it is easier to manage and group them as past experience, transferable experience, and personality traits that make who you are is a good marketing tool to use when selling yourself.
